Hey FoolProof team.

My name Is Shawn M. A. Miranda from Gillette Wy. I just finished your program and I am about to get my first debt card. I am 17 (18 next Jan) and a senior in high school. I would just like to thank you for making the FoolProof program. It really was very helpful and I learned so much that my head feels 5 pounds heavier haha.

Again it was so helpful to me and it's something I will carry with me for a long time. Thou I have a few questions I think I will let the smoke coming from my brain to clear first.
I'm not sure but would you consider a web cam program? It would help people get the answers they didn't get from the mods and may clear up some murky things.

Any way that's just an idea, thank you again I hope to hear for you guys because I do have a few Q's.

Thank you FoolProof
Sincerely Shawn M. A. Miranda

Another email with student feedback came from one of our FoolProof credit unions. Check out this communication and attached document:

Greetings Gentlemen!

I wanted to pass along to you some unsolicited student reviews that I just received from the Edgewood High School Academy of Finance students, as shared with me by the Academy Teacher.

Will, this is the group of students that we addressed in our first visit when you were here.
More proof from the mouths of babes that FoolProof is very, very valuable.

Also, I was thrilled to get the e-mail re: Foolproof Workplace. I plan to take a look following the Thanksgiving Holiday. I already have a bunch of ideas for promoting this module.

Thanks so much!

Happy Holidays to all my FoolProof friends!

We get lots of feedback from young people, asking for information on credit cards, how to pick a credit union, or in this case, how to get a student loan:

Hi Will,

I was wondering what the best Loan Program for college bound students??? I will be studying overseas for 4 years and my choices are pretty much limited. This is what I found in the website on the university in which I will attend:

"The University of St Andrews does not have a list of preferred lenders. As we are an overseas institution, students are able to select a lender of their choice. The most commonly used lenders that students use are:

  • American Student Assistance
  • Sallie Mae"

(Its in St.Andrews, Scotland by the way)

My question is which one is the best to borrow money from or one that you know won't come with high interest rates???
Here is an overview guideline of what the University is asking for:

Last but not least...I have seen all your FoolProof modules and I think their amazing!!! My parents where impressed, thank you for making this accessible for students, you guys rock!!!

I know that you mentioned to have at least one Credit Union. I’m still struggling with that right now; since I live in a small town in Yuma, Arizona…I only have two options either Yuma County FCU (http://www.ycfcu.com/) or AEU Credit Union (http://www.aeafcu.org/).

I don't know how to start and I'm not sure which one will provide more benefits when it comes to school loans or other money matters, now that I will live abroad for at least 4 years!!! And I don’t like my current bank which is Wells Fargo when it comes to using both credit and debit cards abroad.

Hopefully this e-mail finds you well. I wish you and the CUHQ TEAM a wonderful day. Thank You In Advance!!!!

Email Feedback:

FoolProof is an outstanding learning tool that students find fun and stimulating. They love to learn on their own and at their own pace. FoolProof allows them to do this while providing a high quality learning experience. The students are always asking when we will be working on the next FoolProof module.

FoolProof is an excellent addition to any financial literacy curriculum and provides real life examples from individuals who students can relate to. They get very excited learning from people close to their own age.  Students always comment on how much they like the visual and audio stimulation that they receive while using the online FoolProof modules.

~ Jake Browarski - Racine Park High School

Email Feedback 2:

"The FoolProof Education System is a great tool that can be used to educate today’s youth about their economic decisions and how those decisions can impact their financial well being in the future. Having taught business/economic courses to Special Education Students in the past, this program is the best tool I have found to help introduce financial literacy to students with disabilities. The real life situations, jokes, music and photos make it engaging for all of my students."

"This program is a great idea to get students truly involved in their own learning process. Written in simple terms so it can be easily read by all, it is truly designed to create a 'FoolProof' student who can make positive financial decisions in the real world. I have definitely seen how high school students would benefit immensely from this program before they enter the real world. This program would be an asset to any school’s business program."

~ Adam Robinson - Special Education Teacher, Corning East High School

Email Feedback 3:

Our administrators have challenged our educators to bring "online" learning into our curriculum.  Since credit was already a unit we taught, using FoolProof made it amazingly easy for us to implement this online component.  With FoolProof already being developed as an online learning tool, all we had to do was become familiar with the program. Unlike teaching students how to use software, this just simply required us to know what was being taught in the modules.

The number one thing that makes FoolProof "number one" for me is the fact that the FoolProof team listens to any suggestions to make the program better and REACTS to any problems that are encountered. Support is so important on the user end. FoolProof's support is great.

Email Feedback 4:

Hi Will and Martin,

Wow, time really got away from me. Things have been so very, very busy since you were here that I just realized I never sent you a thank you for your visit. Hopefully you know by now how much we appreciate you helping us "kickoff" FoolProof with our students. It seems to really make a difference in their enthusiasm with the program when they get to meet you in person. Put that doesn't mean that you don't deserve to hear thank you again.

The modules are going great so far. All the changes made are really good. They are all making a big difference.

You guys are the greatest.

~ Annette LeMieux - Arrowhead High School

Parent Feedback (1):

I finished the FoolProof modules. I thought it was great! I wish they had this when I was in school. I think it's a great system to teach the business kids or any kids for that matter about money issues. I thought they kept the subject matter interesting and the testing was pretty cool. I didn't play any of the games, but I am sure my daughter Melissa did. I am sure she will want to know how I did. Thanks for the opportunity.

Hi Will,

Your website is wonderful. I can't thank you enough.

I'm going through FoolPoof Solo as is my daughter and it has maintained her interest--a task I could never have accomplished!

My insurance company USAA recommended you. What a blessing for me.

Best Wishes,
